HarborView Custom Cabinets is a family owned custom cabinet operation that was started in 2004 by brothers Brian Long and Robert Long. We started the company with a vision to provide the finest value in cabinetry available throughout the Carolina Piedmont area. Note our emphasis on value. Our goal is not to simply sell and manufacture cabinets, rather to act as a consultant to our customer in an effort to guide them through the often confusing and frustrating process of designing and realizing the kitchen, bath or entertainment area of their dreams. While we never promise to be the least expensive, we believe the exceptional service and attention we offer our customer makes Harbor View the best value in cabinetry to be found in the area.
Harbor View Custom Cabinets offers cabinetry to fit any price point. For budget conscious builders and consumers we offer several pre-manufactured cabinet lines that offer a huge variety of design and color options. For more discriminating customers who want their new room to reflect their individual personality, we also custom build cabinetry to suit your unique preferences. In 2006, we branched into online RTA cabinet sales and in 2011, opened our Lancaster County PA operation, serving that market with RTA cabinets as well as design and layout services
Brian Long: Co-Owner/CEO
Brian has been in the cabinet industry since 1991 when he began working with Conestoga Wood Specialties (now Harbor View’s core supplier!) in their marketing department primarily in the role of Product Development Manager. He also held operations and product management positions with several major custom cabinet manufacturer for several years. Brian is married with three children.
Robert Long: Co-Owner/COO
Robert started his career in the aviation industry, working for Pratt and Whitney and several other large turbine engine manufacturers. He cut his teeth in running a business when he started, ran and then sold a large turbine engine shop in CT. It was in this industry that Robert learned the attention to detail that has served him so well in cabinet manufacturing. Robert left the aviation industry in the late 1990’s to pursue a career as a custom home builder and remodeler and then joined Brian to start Harbor View Cabinets. Robert is married with three children,
