Ready-To-Assemble Cabinetry
Perhaps the product we are the most passionate about is our RTA cabinet offering. Ready to assemble (RTA) cabinets have grown in popularity in recent years mainly because of the ability to keep project costs down for the homeowner. The problem with RTA cabinets has historically been that they are not of very high quality (using cheap cam lock fastners to assemble) and that the offering is very limited, thereby denying the discerning homeowner the ability to create a truly unique and inspired design.

Because of these limitations, we worked long and hard to develop an offering of all US made RTA cabinetry that meets or exceeds the quality and value you would expect from a luxury grade cabinet brand. There are literally hundreds of cabinet companies on the internet peddling Chinese import cabinets (and there is certainly a place for this level of cabinetry), but almost none selling a high end RTA brand that allows the end user the flexibility they need to accomplish their dream kitchen.

The cabinets we offer are of heirloom quality. Check out the specifications below and feel free to visit our online 'sister company' store featuring this phenomenal product at www.thecabinetjoint.com

RTA Cabinet Specifications
While imported RTA cabinets are all about price, our Amish Built RTA cabinets are aimed at the discriminating DIY homeowner who wants the best, but does not want to pay designer showroom prices. Consider the specifications for our RTA cabinets and you will see that most FULLY custom cabinets fall short in quality and breadth of offering:

Assembly
While the assembly process for this product is a little more involved than the cam lock assembly of the imported RTA cabinets, it is still quite simple, as the video below shows. Whats even better is that we will work with you on your assembly and counsel you through the process. This is because we use the product every day in our Mooresville shop.

Typical assembly takes only a few minutes per cabinet and the result is a cabinet that will last a lifetime!

WHY RTA CABINETS JUST MAKE SENSE!

To answer this question more fully, we suggest you visit our Squidoo Blog. However, lets cover this important topic here as well.

The main premise behind RTA cabinets is that they put the project in the control of the homeowner. Design, layout, assembly and installation can be done by the homeowner in an effort to save money versus 'boxed' or custom cabinets. While many homeowners still want assistance with design and installation, they feel fully capable of assembling cabinets themselves, provided the product is well engineered.

Through their willingness to tackle the assembly process and leave out the middleman known as the cabinet showroom, they DIY (do it yourself) client can save thousands of dollars versus comparable or even inferior cabinets that are built in a factory and shipped assembled.

While RTA cabinets have been around for a while, the concept has taken off in recent years mainly because the quality of the products and the engineering of the assembly have come so far. While 'RTA' used to mean 'cheap and inferior', that is not longer the case. We make this point even clearer in the blog, but we encourage you to view the assembly video to the left and compare the quality of our cabinet's construction to just about any other cabinet out there (regardelss of price point). The process is so well oiled and the product of such high quality, you would swear the cabinets were purchased at a luxury kithen and bath center!
